We have an opening for a Demand Planning Manager.
This is a hybrid position and should be within driving distance to our Bettendorf, IA office.
Demand Planning Manager Purpose:
The Demand Planning Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees activities involved in short-term and long-term planning of demand (firm and forecast) management, order movement and flow (back orders), and high-level sales planning/scheduling.
This position will ensure plans are in line with monthly IBP (Integrated Business Planning) commitments.
This is a key role within Integrated Business Planning.
The Demand Planning Manager will partner and collaborate with Plant Management, Sales, Finance, IBP Analysts, and Agrisolutions Leadership.
Demand Planning Manager
Essential Functions:
Oversee demand planning across the locations and work centers, including all intercompany transactions.
Understand demand management resources and tools, including Forecast Pro.
Create and update accurate, monthly composite forecasts, including statistical Forecast Pro, Customer, and Commercial Sales data sets.
Participate in the alignment of demand/supply/operations with the IBP process.
Prepare demand planning data analytics and provide insights to IBP stakeholders.
Prepare and lead presentations to varying audiences.
Be able to convey data analytics and insights in a relatable manner to the respective audience.
Develop and measure demand plans based on firm orders and forecasts across all plants with close Sales and Operations leadership collaboration.
Understand future demands with a 12-month planning horizon.
Provide insights of future demands & lead development of recovery plans as needed.
Develop KPI's:
Forecast accuracy (MAPE), Fill Rate, OTIF, Turns, OCF Participate in development of safety stock targets to support service levels with close supply chain and sales leadership collaboration.
Drive resolution on SLOB (Slow moving; Obsolete) inventory associated with customer demands in support of business objectives.
Participate as an advisory member of the new product development team, providing information and guidance on customer demands.
Participate in financial forecasting and budgets related to demands across multiple Agrisolutions factories.
Create ad hoc reporting for projects and leadership requests.
Demand Planning Manager Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated expertise in demand planning, customer inventory management, and Integrated Business Planning Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to users and present reports to management.
Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and effectively develop data-driven reports or solutions.
Experience with Forecast Pro or similar forecasting software preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications Experience in Power BI, advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, Data Visuals, etc.
), SQL and/or other data analysis programs is preferred.
Excellent accountability, organizational, prioritization and time management skills Exhibits commitment to goals and consistently delivers results; demonstrates personal initiative and independent motivation to achieve goals and objectives.
Known collaborator for developing cross-functional solutions.

S.
Degree or comparable academic background, MBA preferred.
Minimum 5-10 years of related experience in demand planning management, manufacturing, sales & operations planning.
Experience working with multiple factory sites and ERP systems is preferred.
Working Conditions:
May work a remote schedule after training is complete.
Climate controlled office.
Factory and Warehouse sites are not all climate controlled.
Occasional travel may be required.
Estimate 5-10% travel.
Hours can vary for this salaried position, but core office hours are 8 AM to 5 PM CST, Monday through Friday.

Talk and hear both in person and on the telephone.
Use hands and fingers to type, write, and use the computer and telephone system.
Read reports and use the computer on a regular basis.
